Why Did It End? The same-day ratings for this show were not great across its two seasons, but it was planned in advance to have only a two year run. If the numbers had been better, it might have continued beyond that. But it served its purpose in setting up events that will play out in TWD and Fear the Walking, and AMC execs decided to just wrap up this third spin-off after its second year. Next up is the anthology series Tales of the Walking Dead.
