Status: Eight episodes of this live-action adaptation of the beloved fantasy series by Tony DiTerlizzi and Holly Black have been completed, but Disney+ decided not to stream the show as it goes through cost-cutting measures. Paramount shopped the series around and The Roku Channel has stepped up to acquire the property. But that will almost certainly only allow it to stream its existing episodes as it seems unlikely Roku would have the money to fund a second season of this rather expensive series. Fans may want to try a Call to Action on the social networks to see if that might allow it to continue longer.
