Why Was It Cancelled? This supernatural comedy did not receive much promotion from Starz and never developed much of an audience. Its first season averaged only a 0.02 rating based on same-day viewing for the 18-49 demographic, and that slipped to 0.01 for the second year. The premium cable channels do not pay as much attention to the same-day ratings because they are not beholden to advertisers, but those still act as a leading indicator that the show was not drawing much viewership. Starz decided not to keep the series going and to remove it from streaming, likely taking a write-down for tax purposes. Series creator Jeff Astrof has indicated that work has begun on a third season and that the show will be shopped Fans should definitely make some noise on the social networks to help this one find a new home.
