Status: This show did get a fair amount of promotion from AMC (and it aired previously in Australia in 2023), but that did not result in high viewership and the network decided to cancel it. The comparisons to the Emmy-nominated original (which many now consider a classic) were not favorable, and the sequel series only managed a 60% Tomatometer score and a 47% Audience Score on Rotten Tomatoes. Creator Anna Fishko does have plans for additional seasons, and perhaps this one will be shopped around. But AMC Studios has a stake in the property, and they may halt any efforts to move it to a new venue in case they want to take another crack at reviving the franchise down the road. But if Echoes does get shopped around, fans should certainly make some noise on social networks to help bring it more attention and assist with those efforts.
