A year ago, a terrorist attack in Odessa, Texas left the city decimated. Blamed for the tragic event, those with extraordinary abilities are in hiding or on the run from those with nefarious motives. NBC.com

Why Was It Cancelled? This show bowed to moderate ratings back in Fall and saw it numbers continue to drop over the weeks and months that followed. Despite decent delayed viewing gains and claims by the network that the overnights don’t matter, those early results appeared to doom the show. NBC tried to claim that it was always intended as a “limited run” series, but creator Tim Kring had previously said that he had ideas for additional seasons and if the numbers had been high enough this one would have been back.
