Why Was It Cancelled? This series started out with decent numbers when it premiered on Monday night with The Voice as its lead-in. But its ratings sank quickly when it moved to its regular Sunday 9 PM EST timeslot where it had to contend with ABC’s new surprise hit Resurrection as well as ratings juggernaut The Walking Dead in the same hour. Its numbers continued to sink and even the pedigree of executive producers Alfonso Cuarón and J.J. Abrams could not help it as it was preempted and shuffled off to a Summer burn-off run.
