Why Was It Cancelled? This show was cancelled by Netflix and has become yet another genre entry to succumb to the churn from that streamer. Its viewership was good in both its first and second seasons, but in the second year it slipped out of the Top 10 after three weeks. The numbers were still decent considering that it had very little in the way of promotion, but Netflix execs place high viewership demands on their originals and replace them quickly if they don’t measure up. Creator Simon Barry indicated that they were looking into the possibility of moving the show to a different venue, and after a raucous campaign by the fans to save it, he has announced that it will be returning. Executive producer Dean English has revealed in a statement on YouTube that the show will be returning as three feature films, though at this point it is unclear if those will be directly linked to the series (more on that at this link). I am reverting this one back to Cancelled until there is further clarification on its status.
