Season 2 Description: More than a century after the Season 1 finale, tension mounts throughout the galaxy. As the Cleons unravel, a vengeful queen plots to destroy Empire from within. Hari, Gaal, and Salvor discover a colony of Mentalics with special abilities that threaten to alter psychohistory itself. Meanwhile, the Foundation and Empire are on a collision course for war with the fate of humanity in the balance.

Status: This show did not place in the Nielsen Streaming Rankings for its second season, but it still received a third-year renewal (more on that at this link). David S. Goyer has an eight-year plan for the series, which is somewhat ambitious for a streaming original seeing as they tend to cap out at the three-to-four-year mark. But Apple TV+ has been supportive of its shows, so perhaps this one could stick around for a while.
