Sci Fi TV Premieres This Week:


The Walking Dead: Dead City (AMC): In this city, POWER is everything —and no one’s backing down. Brace yourself for high-stakes battles and ruthless showdowns in the all-new season of Dead City. Premieres Sunday at 9 PM EST.

Schedule Notes:

Fox’s animated comedy Krapopolis resumes new episodes this week and also switches to a new timeslot. It will be airing Wednesday at 9 PM EST through the rest of the season. Highlights for the Week of May 5 – May 11

Sci Fi TV News of Note:

The third season of the animated anthology series Star Wars: Visions has received a premiere date of October 29th and James Waugh has confirmed it will revisit three segments from the first season of the show: “The Duel,” “The Village Bride” and “The Ninth Jedi”. In addition, the latter installment will be setting up a new spin-off series to be titled Star Wars: Visions Presents which will give a full season to expand the story of the Ninth Jedi. That will be coming out at some point in 2026.

In further scheduling news, Netflix has announced premiere dates for Season 2 of its Addams Family reboot Wednesday. The first part of the second season will premiere on August 6th, and the second part will arrive on September 3rd. You can see the trailer below.

In production news, work has begun on the X-Files reboot that will be helmed by Ryan Coogler, and Gillian Anderson is in talks to return as Danna Scully. Also moving forward: the Pacific Rim live-action series and the Carrie reboot series, both at Amazon’s Prime Video.
