Sci Fi TV News of Note:

Akiva Goldsman (Star Trek: Strange New Worlds) is working with Legendary Television to reboot three 1960s Irwin Allen properties The Voyage to the Bottom of the Sea, Land of the Giants, and The Time Tunnel and tie them together into a unified universe. Following is what Deadline has to say about the project:

Goldsman and Legendary Television are crafting a unified vision for these stories, bringing modern sensibilities to their appeal and expanding upon his success in revitalizing the Star Trek universe.

The Voyage to the Bottom of the Sea followed the adventures of the crew of the nuclear-powered submarine Seaview as it explored the ocean (you can read more about that one at this link). Land of the Giants followed a group of people whose suborbital flight passes through a “dimension lock” and sends them to a planet where people are twelve times larger (you can read more about that one at this link). And The Time Tunnel focused on a secret government project sending people back in time (you can read more about that one at this link). How the three shows will be linked together is unclear, but be sure to stay tuned for further developments on this one.

Production has begun on Foundation Season 4 (Apple TV+), Paradise Season 2 (Hulu), and a Punisher special (Disney+).  You can read more about those in our regular Sci Fi TV Production Report column.

The long-awaited second season of Peacemaker finally has a premiere window of August 2025.  And the spin-off series Waller is still in the works, though it looks like it will be a while before that hits the small screen.

Resident Alien star Alan Tudyk has said that the fourth season of that show, which is moving to USA from Syfy, should arrive “before the end of 2025”, but he did not have a specific date or month for the premiere.
