The MGM+ sci fi/horror series From has been renewed for a fourth season ahead of its third season finale. The news comes as no surprise seeing as the show has allegedly performed well for the network, with MGM+ head Michael Wright saying “From has been a sensation for MGM+, capturing the attention of millions of viewers and helping us to shine a bright light on our MGM+ brand”. I have not seen any viewership numbers for the show because Nielsen does not track either the linear or digital platforms for MGM+. But From has managed to develop some buzz across its three seasons so far, and it currently holds a 96% Fresh Rating and 81% Audience Score at Rotten Tomatoes. Showrunner Jeff Pinkner had the following to say about the renewal:
We are thrilled by the support of our fans and our partners at MGM+ and are so excited to share the next chapter of our story with our FROMily. By the end of season 3, our characters will begin to understand why they are trapped in FROM Town… but will understanding help them to escape? And if so, how?
Series creator John Griffin also had some comments about where the show will go next:
With the culmination of Season Three we have, in many ways, reached the end of the beginning. In Season Four, a new journey begins. The question is whether it will lead our characters home, or deeper into this unrelenting nightmare.
The fourth season will consist of ten episodes, and production will start in 2025 targeting a 2026 premiere. This Season 3 finale will air on Sunday.

I’m not not sure how i feel about From. I sort of enjoy it but at the same time feel like I’m being strung along. We know little more about what is happening than we did in the pilot. Hopefully they start giving us a few answers in S4. I like Perrineau’s performance – he makes the show IMO.
