Sci Fi TV News of Note:
Filming has begun on the live-action series Spider-Man Noir which stars Nicholas Cage. Following is the logline for the show:
The series tells the story of an aging and down-on-his-luck private investigator in 1930s New York, who is forced to grapple with his past life as the city’s one and only superhero.
This series will run first on MGM+ first before getting a global release on Prime Video. Expect it to debut mid-to-late 2025.
Genndy Tartakovsky has given an update on Primal Season 3 claiming that they are halfway through animating the ten episodes and that “it’s gonna blow everybody’s socks off”. Expect that one to return to Adult Swim at some point in 2025.
In renewal news, Apple TV+ has given the greenlight for a second season of its mystery-series-with-a-twist Sugar. That is another show that will likely arrive at some point in 2025.
