Schedule Notes
Starting this week, ABC is experimenting with running Disney+ originals in Prime Time, though oddly enough they are doing it on low-viewership Saturday nights. Ms. Marvel begins an encore run with three episodes airing back-to-back starting at 8 PM EST on Saturday. Expect to see more of this from all of the broadcast networks as they have less and less in the way of scripted programming available due to the writers’ and actors’ strikes. It looks like the Lando Calrissian TV series (first announced in 2020) will be going forward at Disney+ as Donald Glover and his brother Stephen have been signed to start writing scripts for the show. Glover will return to the lead role, but no writing can begin until the writers’ strike is resolved . . . Apple TV+’s Silo is the latest production to go on indefinite hiatus due to the strikes . . . Disney+’s Loki has revealed the first poster for its upcoming second season which is set to premiere on October 6th.
