Sci Fi/Fantasy TV Shows Premiering This Week


Citadel (Amazon): Eight years ago, Citadel, an independent global spy agency, was destroyed by a new syndicate, Manticore. With their memories wiped, elite agents Mason Kane and Nadia Sinh barely escaped with their lives. Eight years later, Mason’s former colleague, Bernard Orlick, asks for his help to prevent Manticore from establishing a new world order. Premieres on Friday.



Sweet Tooth (Netflix): Captured and imprisoned by the Last Men, a very special deer boy named Gus takes action to help his newfound hybrid friends escape before it’s too late. Season 2 premieres on Thursday.

A Galaxy Quest TV series is in the works at Paramount+ with the film’s producer Mark Johnson onboard but no announcement on the cast yet . . . The Duffer brothers are teaming up with Jeffrey Addiss and Will Matthews (The Dark Crystal: The Age of Resistance) on the sci fi drama The Burroughs over at Netflix . . . A Section 31 movie is headed to Paramount+ with Michelle Yeoh and it will be part of Phase 2 for the Star Trek franchise on that streamer with plans for a movie every two years.
