Schedule Notes:
There are no sci fi TV premieres this week, but NBC’s Quantum Leap wraps up its first season on Monday at 9 PM EST. That show has been renewed for a second season which should premiere in Fall 2023. School Spirits wrapped up its first season last week on Paramount+. There is no word on a second season of that one yet.

Paramount+ has given the greenlight to a Starfleet Academy series that will follow a new class of cadets as they work their way through the rigorous training at the academy . . . Black Panther‘s Ryan Coogler is currently working on a revival of The X-Files with a diverse cast . . . Season 2 of HBO’s House of the Dragon has been trimmed back to eight episodes, but a third season of that one is still expected.
