School Spirits (Paramount+): When high-schooler Maddie finds herself a ghost trapped in afterlife limbo at her high school, she investigates her mysterious disappearance alongside a group of other ghost students. She soon learns that the closer they get to discovering the truth, the more secrets and lies they uncover. Premieres on Thrusday.

Amazon has given the greenlight to a television series based on the John Wyndham book The Day of the Triffids . . . A Stranger Things prequel is in the works that will be a stage play to debut in London . . . HBO Max’s Dune: Sisterhood series is going through some behind-the-scenes struggles as the lead actor, one of its showrunners, and the director have all departed from the production.
