Nielsen Streaming Top 10
Amazon’s The Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power improved one slot to Number 2 in the Nielsen Streaming Rankings for originals for the week of September 26th to October 2nd. The show had an estimated 966 million minutes viewed in its sixth week of release and it has already been renewed for a second season. Hulu’s The Handmaid’s Tale improved to Number 5 with 544 minutes viewed in its third week and that one has been renewed for a sixth and final season. Disney+’s Andor (Renewed) held steady at Number 6 with 485 minutes viewed while She-Hulk (Renewal Possible) returned to the chart after one week out at Number 9 with 416 million minutes. Netflix’s Fate: The Winx Saga (Renewal Possible) dropped out after two weeks in the charts. In the Top 10 for acquired shows, HBO’s House of the Dragon (Renewed) remained at Number 1 with 907 million minutes while Supernatural returned for Netflix after several weeks out at Number 8 with 501 million minutes. Netflix Top 10:
There was only one genre entry in the Netflix Top 10 for the week of October 17th to 23rd and that was the supernatural drama The Midnight Club (Renewal Possible). That show slipped two slots to Number 5 and pulled in twenty-two million hours of viewing. Fate: The Winx Saga (Renewal Possible) Season 2 dropped out after five weeks and Alchemy of Souls (Renewal Possible) dropped out of the Top 10 chart for Non-English language shows after a fourteen-week run.
