Sci Fi/Fantasy TV Shows Premiering This Week
The Peripheral (Premieres October 21st on Prime Video): The Peripheral centers on Flynne Fisher, a woman trying to hold together the pieces of her broken family in a forgotten corner of tomorrow’s America. Flynne is smart, ambitious, and doomed. She has no future. Until the future comes calling for her. The Peripheral is master storyteller William Gibson’s dazzling, hallucinatory glimpse into the fate of mankind — and what lies beyond. The first episode will be available for streaming on Friday.
American Horror Story (Season 11 Premieres October 19th on FX): The horror moves to New York in this show’s eleventh season. Premieres Wednesday 10 PM EST.
Doctor Who (Season Finale Premieres October 23rd on BBC America): “The Power of the Doctor” brings the final adventure for the 13th Doctor. Premieres Sunday at 8 PM EST.
Schedule Notes
HBO’s House of the Dragon will be wrapping up its first season on Sunday. That one has already been renewed for a second year. On Thursday, FXX’s Little Demon will have its season finale and there is no word yet on whether that one will be back for a second year.
