Linear Ratings Results of Interest:
The CW’s Nancy Drew spin-off series Tom Swift had its premiere last Tuesday and posted a 0.06 rating based on same-day viewing for the 18-49 demographic with 440K total viewers. That is no better than what cancelled Naomi was seeing in the post-Superman & Lois timeslot, but since Tom Swift counts as a Summer entry it gets some leeway due to lower viewership expectations. Still, those numbers are less than impressive for a premiere, and with new ownership likely moving in that counts as a tenuous start at best.
On Sunday, HBO’s The Time Traveler’s Wife improved to a 0.04 rating in the demo with 245K total viewers. But those numbers are still pretty low and I have that one On the Bubble. Over on AMC, Fear the Walking Dead improved to a 0.11 score with 710K total viewers for its season finale. That one has been renewed for an eighth year, but that could be its last.

Nielsen Streaming Top 10
Disney+’s Moon Knight released its season finale the week of May 2nd to 8th, and even though it remained in the Number 3 slot its viewership numbers improved. That show posted an estimated 715 minutes of viewing for the week, its highest tally so far. Moon Knight has been designated as a mini-series but could return with a second season at some point. Amazon’s Outer Range also wrapped up its first season that week, improving to the Number 4 slot (its highest yet) with 425 million minutes of viewing. That one could be returning for a second season. Both Undone (Amazon) and Shining Girls (Apple TV+) had their premieres the prior week but neither have made it into the Nielsen charts yet. Star Trek: Strange New Worlds had its premiere on May 5th, but Paramount+ is not currently tracked in the Nielsen Streaming Ratings.
