Note that I am traveling this week and the Nielsen numbers were running late again, thus the reason this post is a day behind.
Nielsen Streaming Top 10
Amazon’s Outer Range made it into the Nielsen Streaming Top 10 for originals for the week of April 11th to 17th. It landed at the Number 7 slot for the week of its premiere and pulled in an estimated 281 million minutes of viewing which is good for a Prime Video original. Disney+’s Moon Knight held steady at Number 3 for the third week of its release with 638 million minutes viewed. Season 2 of Netflix’s animated Ultraman reboot had its premiere that week but did not place in the Top 10. Following are all the sci fi and fantasy TV shows on the streaming charts for the week (the number in parenthesis is the prior week rank):

Linear Ratings Results of Interest:
On Sunday, The Time Traveler’s Wife had its debut on HBO and posted a 0.05 rating based on same-day viewing for the 18-49 demographic with 294K total viewers. That is not a strong debut, and continues a trend we have been seeing of low viewing numbers among the cable channels. It may make up slack with digitial viewing on HBO Max, though, so I will have to see how this one tracks in the coming weeks.
Over on Showtime on Sunday, The Man Who Fell to Earth ticked up to a 0.03 rating with 193K total viewers, though that is hardly enough to inspire confidence in the show’s numbers and it remains On the Bubble. Over on AMC, Fear the Walking Dead slipped to a 0.13 rating with 738K total viewers. That one has already been renewed for an eighth season.
Earlier in the week, Naomi slipped to a 0.06 rating with 432K total viewers for its two-hour season finale. That show was cancelled last week along with Legacies, Charmed, 4400, and Roswell New Mexico.
