Last Monday, TNT’s Snowpiercer slowed notably in the ratings, dropping to a 0.13 rating based on same-day viewing for the 18-49 demographic with 656K total viewers. That one has already been renewed for a fourth season, so those numbers should not be too concerning, but that is a considerable drop from the 0.22 score it posted for its Season 3 premiere. Over on The CW on Monday, 4400 improved to a 0.07 rating with 310K total viewers, but that one is still performing below network averages and could be heading to Bubble status soon.
On Tuesday on Syfy, freshman series Astrid & Lilly Save the World slipped to a 0.04 rating in the demo with 252K total viewers. That show’s premiere numbers were already less than encouraging and I started it out On the Bubble. Fans should definitely make a Call to Action on the social networks to it bring more attention since the network has done little to promote it. Leading in to that show, Resident Alien slipped to a 0.14 rating with one million total viewers, but that one is still doing okay for a Syfy entry.
Over on The CW on Tuesday, Superman & Lois slipped to a 0.15 rating with 781K total viewers, but it is still the top rated show on its network and should be set for a third season. Naomi slipped to a 0.09 score with 507K, but it is still doing okay for a CW entry. On Wednesday, Legends of Tomorrow continued to improve as it posted a season high 0.12 rating with 640K total viewers. It could be headed to an eighth season if the potential sale of the network does not shake things up too much. In the lead-out hour, Batwoman also pulled a 0.12 rating with 542K total viewers and that one should be on track to a fourth season.
The CW’s Nancy Drew only had thirteen episodes planned for its third season (a lot of that network’s shows are getting shorter runs this year), so that one has wrapped up and its status may be wavering with new ownership possibly moving in. Blade Runner: Black Lotus rebounded to a 0.12 rating with 251K total viewers for its season finale. That one has a chance of returning for a second season. ShowBuzzDaily is showing that Two Sentence Horror Stories was preempted on Sunday despite the fact that they schedule showed a new episode. If that is incorrect, I will update the ratings for that show when available.
