Nielsen Streaming Top 10
The Book of Boba Fett had its premiere on Disney+ the week of December 27th to January 2nd, and the first episode made it into the Nielsen Streaming Top 10 for originals. It landed at the Number 8 slot with an estimated 389 million minutes viewed and could be on track for a second season renewal. Netflix’s The Witcher slipped to Number 2 for the week while still logging impressive viewership at 1.8 billion minutes. That one has already been renewed for a third season. Amazon’s The Wheel of Time held steady at Number 4 for the week of its season finale, pulling in 630 million minutes of viewing. A second season of that one should be on the way later this year. Hawkeye slipped to Number 5 the week after it wrapped up it first season, pulling in 539 million minute of viewing. There is no word yet on a second season of that one. And the final season of Lost in Space slipped to Number 7 with 452 million minutes viewed. Netflix Top 10
Netflix’s horror series Archive 81 may not have received much in the way of advanced promotion, but it is certainly finding an audience in its first season so far. That show premiered the prior week at Number 7 in the Netflix Top 10 with 22 million hours viewed, then more than trippled its viewership numbers the week of January 17th to 23rd to 77 million while rising to Number 2. At this point, a second season of that show is looking like a good bet. The Witcher Season 2 slipped to Number 7 with 23 million hours viewed over a month after its premiere. And Manifest Season 1 slipped to Number 8 with 21 million hours of viewing. The fourth season of that show will be arriving on Netflix later this year. Following are all the sci fi and fantasy TV shows on the Netflix charts for the week (the number in parenthesis is the prior week rank):

7 (3) The Witcher: Season 2 22.6 Million Hours
