Sci Fi/Fantasy TV Shows Premiering This Week
This week brings a late premiere for the Fall season which arrives on Netflix on Friday.
The Silent Sea (Premieres on Netflix December 24th): During a perilous 24-hour mission on the moon, space explorers try to retrieve samples from an abandoned research facility steeped in classified secrets. All episodes will be available for streaming on Friday.
Schedule Notes:
Not many shows will be airing new episodes this week because of the holidays, but there are still a few offerings for sci fi and fantasy fans beyond the premiere above. On Thursday, FOX’s Fantasy Island returns with a two-hour holiday special (which was moved from Tuesday due to rescheduling of football games). On Wednesday, Hawkeye will have its season finale on Disney+ (no word on a second season yet). And The Wheel of Time wraps up its first season on Amazon Friday (it has been renewed for a second season). Mid-Season is almost upon us, and you can see the schedule at this link.
