Sci Fi/Fantasy TV Shows Premiering This Week
There is only one show joining the schedule this week, but it is one that sci fi fans have been eagerly awaiting.
The Expanse (Season 6 Premieres on Prime Video December 10th): Holden and the crew of the Rocinante fight alongside the Combined Fleet of Earth and Mars to protect the Inner Planets from Marco Inaros and his Free Navy’s campaign of death and destruction. Meanwhile, on a distant planet beyond the Rings, a new power rises. This is the final season of this show and it will release one episode per week.
Schedule Notes:
The CW pulled some scheduling hi-jinks this past week (or TV Guide did not update the listings correctly). The mid-season finales for Legends of Tomorrow and Batwoman both aired on Wednesday, November 24th even though the schedule originally showed preemptions. Both shows will be back with new episodes on January 12th. The rest of The CW shows will be wrapping up their Fall seasons over the next couple of weeks. Also, Paramount+’s Star Trek: Prodigy is currently on hiatus and will resume streaming new episodes on January 6th. The Wheel of Time (Amazon) Friday New Ep
In the U.S., Amazon prime seems to drop new
episodes of The Wheel of Time on Thursday
not Friday. I do not know exactly at what time.
Forgive me but the Chucky season finale (E08) was last week on 11/30.
Gotta keep an eye on that Chucky, he bounces back when you least expect it. Corrected now.
