Highlights for October
Invasion (Original Series, Premieres October 22nd on Apple TV+): We are not alone. Extraterrestrial beings have made their way to Earth from across the universe. Civilization could collapse. And survival is up to you. Feel what it’s like to live through an alien invasion starting.
Bright: Samurai Soul (Original Anime Move, Premieres October 12th on Netflix): Based on the world of the live-action film “Bright” and set in Japan between the end of the shogunate and Meiji era, this spin-off tells the story of Izou, a Ronin, and Raiden, an orc, who work to bring a young elf girl and the wand she carries to the land of the elves in the north…
Locke & Key (Original Series, Season 2 Premieres October 22nd on Netflix): This series follows three siblings who, after the murder of their father, move to their ancestral home only to find the house has magical keys that give them a vast array of powers and abilities.
Star Trek: Prodigy (Original Animated Series, Premieres October 28th on Paramount+): This CG-animated series is the first Star Trek series aimed at younger audiences and will follow a motley crew of young aliens who must figure out how to work together while navigating a greater galaxy, in search for a better future. These six young outcasts know nothing about the ship they have commandeered – a first in the history of the Star Trek Franchise – but over the course of their adventures together, they will each be introduced to Starfleet and the ideals it represents.
Additional Note: All of the Star Trek movies featuring the cast of TOS and TNG from The Motion Picture to Nemesis will be available on Hulu starting October 1st. All of the Harry Potter movies will be available on Peacock starting on October 15th.
