NBC’s subscription-based streaming platform Peacock has been widely available since July 2020 and offers quite a number of shows of interest to sci fi and fantasy fans. But the NBC.com website and app is still out there and it has a hefty number of sci fi TV entries that are available to stream for free with ads, several of which count as genre classics. Shows like The Six Million Dollar Man, The Incredible Hulk, Heroes, Quantum Leap, Battlestar: Galactica (1978), and more are currently available for streaming to all who have access to the internet (the NBC app is available on Roku, Fire TV, Apple TV, and more). But as the Peacock service continues to grow its subscribers, I would not be surprised to see these shows move over to that platform and they may no longer be available to watch for free. I have seen no indication that these will be taken down right away, but streaming availability changes with little notice. Following is a list of what NBC.com currently has available, and I would watch these sooner rather than later if any pique your interest. The Incredible Hulk may have been the first casualty. Can’t seem to find it on the NBC app anymore and isn’t on Peacock. Guess we better catch up on the rest while we still can!
