Sci Fi/Fantasy TV Shows Premiering This Week
This week brings three premieres, two on the broadcast networks and one on the streaming services.
Supergirl (The CW): As Braniac (Jesse Rath) lays close to death after trying to stop Lex (Jon Cryer), Supergirl (Melissa Benoist) and team soar in to save him, engaging in an epic battle with Gamenmae (guest start Cara Buono). After beating Leviathan, Supergirl turn her attention to Lex (Jon Cryer) who has used the Obsidian platform to brainwash half the world to love him and follow him at all costs, no matter what horrible things he does. Season 6 premieres on Tuesday at 9 PM EST.
Manifest (NBC): Over a year has passed since the miraculous homecoming of Flight 828 and the discovery of others who have mysteriously returned. While the Stone family endeavors to keep their friends safe and make their enemies believe the unbelievable, new challenges will test their trust of the callings and each other. But sticking together is more important than ever, because no matter what happens, it’s all connected. Season 3 premieres on Thursday at 8 PM EST.
Creepshow (Shudder): This horror anthology series is based on the 1982 movie by George Romero and Stephen King. It frames each episode as a stories from the EC-like Creepshow comic book. The series will continue to adapt existing horror stories and also offer new tales of terror. Season 3 premieres on Friday with the first episode available for streaming.
Other Schedule Notes
TNT’s Snowpiercer will have its two-hour Season 2 finale on Monday starting at 9 PM EST. That show has been renewed for a third season. AMC’s The Walking Dead will have its Season 10 finale on Sunday at 9 PM EST with a Negan-centric episode. That show has been renewed for an eleventh and final season. I missed the Final Space Season 3 premiere on Cartoon Network last week. That one is airing new episodes on Saturdays at 10:30 PM EST. Superman & Lois is on hiatus until May and several of The CW’s shows are preempted this week (as indicated in the listings below). And for those interested, Syfy kicks off a marathon of the Chucky movies on Thursday at 7 AM EST as a warmup for the series that will debut later this year.

You have Manifest listed on CW; it’s actually on NBC.
It was moonlighting . . . ?
Corrected now, thanks for the heads up.
