Weekly roundup of science fiction and fantasy shows (as well as movies/specials of note) on the Prime Time TV schedule, also including programs that may be of interest to genre fans. Air dates and times subject to change without notice.
This is a busy week for sci fi and fantasy television with three premieres and two shows returning with new episodes. Things kick off on Monday with the premiere of new sci fi series Debris on NBC which comes from Fringe alum J. H. Wyman. Then on Tuesday, The Flash races back to the schedule for that show’s seventh season premiere on The CW. On Thursday, the new Anime series Pacific Rim: The Black has its debut on Netflix with all episodes available for viewing that day. On Friday, Wynonna Earp returns for the second half of that show’s fourth season. That will end its run on Syfy, but producers are looking for a new home for a potential fifth season. Finally, on Sunday Pennyworth resumes airing new episodes of its second season on EPIX. Also this week, the season finale for Wandavision releases on Disney+ on Friday. That will wrap up that mini-series, but it is possible that the characters could return in a different format at a later date. Schedule Notes: If a show is listed as On Hiatus, that means that it is taking a break of more than two episodes in a row. If a streaming series is included in the listings after its premiere date, then it releases new episodes once per week on that day as opposed to releasing its entire season at one time.
