Ratings Results of Interest
The CW’s Black Lightning returned for its fourth last Monday and posted a 0.15 rating based on same-day viewing for the 18-49 demographic with 515K total viewers. Those numbers are down somewhat from its second season, but about in line with the declines that other CW shows have been seeing this year. That show is currently in its final season and will be wrapping up this year. Over on TNT on Monday, Snowpiercer slowed down some to a 0.22 rating with 873K total viewers, but that one has already been renewed for a third season.
On Wednesday on Syfy, Resident Alien slipped to a 0.19 rating in the demo with 876K total viewers. That is still quite good for a show on that network these days and it seems to be on track for a second season renewal. On Sunday on Starz, American Gods pulled a 0.03 rating with 123K total viewers after a week off. That show is currently On the Bubble. Over on BBC America, The Watch fell out of the Cable Top 150 for the night and its numbers will be updated later. The CW shows remained mostly steady week-over-week, gaining or losing a tick or two.

Status Updates of Interest
For the status updates on all of the currently airing shows plus those awaiting word on their fate, go to this link.
Lovecraft Country (HBO Max, 1st Season Ended, Status – Renewal Possible): The ratings for this show were decent if not spectacular in its first season, and it surely makes up some slack with digital and delayed viewing as well as encore runs. It has been getting plenty of attention during awards season, and HBO execs have indicated that they are hopeful that plans for a second season can be worked out.
The Twilight Zone (CBSAA, 2nd Season Ended, Status – On the Bubble): It has been over half a year since the second season of this reboot premiered, and there has been no word on its fate. Perhaps the production delays have it shut down for now, but you would think CBS would at least announce it if has plans for a third season. It is pretty easy to start this one back up at any point, though, so perhaps it will be back with new episodes.
