Weekly roundup of science fiction and fantasy shows (as well as movies/specials of note) on the Prime Time TV schedule, also including programs that may be of interest to genre fans. Air dates and times subject to change without notice.
Two more genre entries join the schedule this week as the Fall season starts to wind down. On Friday, Hulu’s updated version of The Hardy Boys with a supernatural twist has its debut with all thirteen episodes available for viewing that day. Also on Friday, MacGyver kicks off its fifth year on CBS after its fourth season was cut short last Spring due to the production shutdowns. Apart from that, the schedule is rather slim with only a handful of genre shows airing new episodes during the week. There are still a few more sci fi and fantasy shows set to premiere by the end of the year, and you can see the full Fall schedule at this link. And things will ramp up at Mid-Season with the return of The Flash, Legacies, Manifest, American Horror Story, and more. You can see the preliminary 2021 schedule at this link.

Schedule Notes: If a show is listed as On Hiatus, that means that it is taking a break of more than two episodes in a row. If a streaming series is included in the listings after its premiere date, then it releases new episodes once per week on that day as opposed to releasing its entire season at one time.
