Sci Fi TV Listings for the Week of August 24th: Wynonna Earp Mid-Season Finale Wraps the 2019-20 Season

Weekly roundup of science fiction and fantasy shows (as well as movies/specials of note) on the Prime Time TV schedule, also including programs that may be of interest to genre fans. Air dates and times subject to change without notice.

The 2019-2020 season comes to an end this week with the Fall season following just around the corner. There are no premieres for the week, but Wynonna Earp wraps up for its mid-season break. As I understand it, the hiatus was not planned in advance but caused due to the production shutdowns. I believe the remaining six episodes for the show’s fourth season have been filmed and are slated to air later in Fall. There is still no word on a fifth season for that show. Next week brings the beginning of the Fall season with three shows premiering on the streaming services and more on the way. Schedule Notes: If a show is listed as On Hiatus, that means that it is taking a break of more than two episodes in a row. If a streaming series is included in the listings after its premiere date, then it releases new episodes once per week on that day as opposed to releasing its entire season at one time.
