Ratings Results of Interest: On Sunday, Syfy’s Wynonna Earp returned for its fourth season and pulled a 0.13 rating based on same-day viewing for the 18-49 demographic with 459K total viewers. That is up from the 0.11 average the show had in its third season and a decent start for the current year (beating out the average for The Magicians for the first time). Over on AMC, NOS4A2 improved to a 0.11 rating with 341K total viewers. Both shows may have benefited from coverage at the Comic-Con@Home event over the weekend.
On Wednesday, ABC’s Agents of SHIELD held steady at a 0.3 rating with 1.3 million total viewers. That show is only a few more episodes away from its series finale. Over on The CW, The 100 aired a repeat as it is taking a short break. And on Tuesday on The CW, Stargirl held at a 0.2 rating with 766K total viewers. That one has been renewed for a second season and will be moving exclusively to The CW.

Status Updates of Interest
For the status updates on all of the currently airing shows plus those awaiting word on their fate, go to this link.
Doom Patrol (HBO Max, Streaming, Status – Renewal Possible): This show has developed some pretty good buzz thus far and HBO Max will have an incentive to renew its early originals, so consider a third season a good bet at this point. (Note: this show is also streaming on DCU.)
Penny Dreadful City of Angels (Showtime, Season Ended, Status – On the Bubble): The numbers have been low through this show’s first season (sinking as low as a 0.01 rating), and even though the premium cable channels pay less attention to the same-day viewing, those stats do act as a leading indicator for viewer interest. This one is currently On the Bubble and fans may want to make a Call to Action on the social networks to bring more attention it.
