Weekly roundup of science fiction and fantasy shows (as well as movies/specials of note) on the Prime Time TV schedule, also including programs that may be of interest to genre fans. Air dates and times subject to change without notice.
There’s not much in the way of sci fi and fantasy TV currently on the broadcast networks and cable channels, but the streaming services have continued to add shows pretty much each week this Summer. This week brings the second season premiere of Netflix’s superhero series The Umbrella Academy, based on the Dark Horse Comics series of the same name. It premieres on Friday and all Season 2 episodes will be available for viewing that day. There are still more shows on the way this Summer and you can see the full schedule at this link.

Schedule Notes: If a show is listed as On Hiatus, that means that it is taking a break of more than two episodes in a row. If a streaming series is included in the listings after its premiere date, then it releases new episodes once per week on that day as opposed to releasing its entire season at one time.
Not sure what’s going on but half the time you can’t actually see the listings – just a blank space. Come back later and they appear. It’s been like it for a few weeks now. Very strange.
This post is just a stub for the full listings which are now at The Sci Fi TV Site. Click on the link at the end of the paragraph and you will see the full listings.
