Weekly roundup of science fiction and fantasy shows (as well as movies/specials of note) on the Prime Time TV schedule, also including programs that may be of interest to genre fans. Air dates and times subject to change without notice.
This week will be the busiest one we have seen in a while for sci fi TV Premieres. On Thursday, Doom Patrol has its second season premiere on HBO Max (jumping over from DCU). That one will release one episode per week. Also on Thursday, The Twilight Zone returns for its second season on CBS All Access with all episodes available that day. Then on Friday, Netflix’s Dark returns for its third and final season with all episodes available that day. Also this week, two shows will be wrapping up. On Thursday, DCU’s Harley Quinn has its second season finale (with a third season looking very possible for that one). On Sunday, Showtime’s Penny Dreadful: City of Angels has its first season finale which could end up being its series finale. Schedule Notes: If a show is listed as On Hiatus, that means that it is taking a break of more than two episodes in a row. If a streaming series is included in the listings after its premiere date, then it releases new episodes once per week on that day as opposed to releasing its entire season at one time.

Hey Johnny, are you sure that The Twilight Zone will be released on weekly basis? There’s an article on Deadline saying otherwise:
https://deadline.com/video/the-twilight-zone-season-2-trailer-premiere-date-jordan-peele-cbs-all-access/
“Season 1 released episodes on a weekly basis, while the second season will drop all the episodes on June 25.”
I quess it’s worth veryfying who is right.
Yep. Saw something else confirming all eps will be available on Thursday. Not certain if CBS All Access is changing the way they will release their originals, or if this is a one-time thing. I will be updating the article shortly and thanks for the heads up.
