The CW announced today that its horror anthology series Two Sentence Horror Stories will be returning for a second season in Fall. That show last aired a new episode in September 2019, and there had been no word on its fate until today. It was a late Summer entry last season but will be shifting to Fall to pad the schedule due to the delays caused for returning shows related to the Coronavirus shutdowns. It is unclear if the second season of the show had already been in the works or if it will just be easy to ramp up another season because it is a relatively inexpensive half-hour show. The first season consisted of ten episodes inspired by the popular internet mini-tales comprised of two sentences, and the second season should be about the same length. Note that with this renewal, The CW has renewed 100% of its shows from the 2018-19 season that were not in their final seasons.
There are still more renewal and cancellation announcements on the way as the season wraps up, but those may be spaced out over the next few weeks as the networks have staggered their Upfronts when they will unveil their schedules for next season.
