Weekly roundup of science fiction and fantasy shows (as well as movies/specials of note) on the Prime Time TV schedule, also including programs that may be of interest to genre fans. Air dates and times subject to change without notice.
This is a pretty slow week for sci fi TV and we will be seeing more of that for a while with the production shutdowns in place. There is one premiere this week with FX’s horror/comedy What We Do in the Shadows returning for its second season on Wednesday with a double episode. The CW’s Riverdale resumes new episodes on Wednesday as well, and the Arrow-verse shows will return from their short hiatus next week. Note that NBC’s Manifest had its season finale last week. I thought that one had sixteen episodes in its second season like it first, but apparently only thirteen were planned (and it does not appear to have been impacted by the shutdowns). There are still a few more shows joining the schedule over the coming weeks, and you can see the current schedule of sci fi and fantasy shows at this link

Schedule Notes: If a show is listed as On Hiatus, that means that it is taking a break of more than two episodes in a row. If a streaming series is included in the listings after its premiere date, then it releases new episodes once per week on that day as opposed to releasing its entire season at one time.
