Weekly roundup of science fiction and fantasy shows (as well as movies/specials of note) on the Prime Time TV schedule, also including programs that may be of interest to genre fans. Air dates and times subject to change without notice.
The CW’s Arrow-verse shows have been leading up to it all season and at the end of this week the Crisis on Infinite Earths cross-over event kick-offs with the first of five parts. Supergirl will be the first of the Arrow-verse shows to host a cross-over episode. That one shifts to the 8 PM EST hour on Sunday and will be followed by Crisis Aftermath 1 in which Kevin Smith goes behind the scenes of the event series. Crisis continues into next week and concludes in January after the Winter hiatus. You can see the full schedule of episodes and read more about the event at this link.
Also this week, Netflix’s vampire-pocalypse series V-Wars has its debut on Friday. All episodes will be available for streaming that day. Wrapping up this week is Arrow which will have its mid-season finale on Tuesday. That one returns in January with its Crisis episode. Also of note, apparently NBC’s The Good Place has wrapped up for Fall and will resume new episodes in January. But there are still more premieres on the way before the end of the year and you can see the full schedule of sci fi and fantasy shows at this link.

Schedule Notes: If a show is listed as On Hiatus, that means that it is taking a break of more than two episodes in a row. If a streaming series is included in the listings after its premiere date, then it releases new episodes once per week on that day as opposed to releasing its entire season at one time.
