Weekly roundup of science fiction and fantasy shows (as well as movies/specials of note) on the Prime Time TV schedule, also including programs that may be of interest to genre fans. Air dates and times subject to change without notice.
Apple’s new streaming service launches this Friday and brings with it two new sci fi shows premiering on the same day. The post-apocalyptic series See, starinng Jason Momoa, will have its bow (see trailer below) as well as the alternate-history space drama For All Mankind starring Joel Kinnaman. Each series will release three episodes on its premiere date and then one episode per week after that. And one of the Fall shows wraps up this week already as Shudder’s Creepshow will release the sixth and final episode of its current season. That show has done quite well for the streaming service in its first year and will likely return for a second season. Also this week, Hulu’s movie-a-month horror anthology Into the Dark releases the Thanksgiving-themed episode “Pilgrim”. On Thursday, the CBS and CW shows are taking the night off rather than compete with Trick or Treaters (viewership usually drops off on Halloween), but they will return with new episodes next week. There are still more Fall sci fi and fantasy premieres on the way and you can see the full schedule at this link.

Schedule Notes: If a show is listed as On Hiatus, that means that it is taking a break of more than two episodes in a row. If a streaming series is included in the listings after its premiere date, then it releases new episodes once per week on that day as opposed to releasing its entire season at one time.
