Series Profile: Heroes Will Fall in the Eighth and Final Season of Arrow

What Is It?

In the eighth season of Arrow, Oliver Queen and team continue to protect Starling City from those who threaten it while a much larger and more cosmic danger looms. Following is the synopsis for the Season 8 premiere:

While trying to decipher The Monitor’s (guest star LaMonica Garrett) mission, Oliver (Stephen Amell) returns to Starling City where he encounters familiar faces. Meanwhile, Mia (Katherine McNamara) and William’s (Ben Lewis) team clash with a new foe.

The series will play an integral part in the upcoming Crisis on Infinite Earths cross-over event which will forever change the Arrow-verse and result in the deaths of several major characters.

Series Premiere

Arrow moves to Tuesdays at 9 PM EST timeslot following The Flash this Fall and will have its Season 8 premiere on October 15th.

Status

Arrow has had a long and succesful run on The CW and will wrap up with a bang as its final season ends right after the conclusion of the Crisis cross-over. A spin-off from the series that will focus on focus on Mia Smoak/Green Arrow and the Canaries Laurel Lance and Dinah Drake is in the works and the pilot will air as an episode of the series later in the season.
