Status
This Canadian import has been a perennially low-rated show for Syfy, but it also apparently an inexpensive acquisition so it has managed to hang on. That said, Syfy tends to have a cap of four to five seasons for its shows, so this one could come to an end with its current season, especially if the ratings remain low. Van Helsing does have a dedicated fanbase, so they should make a Call to Action on the social networks to bring more attention to the show and help it stick around to a fifth season.
