Weekly roundup of science fiction and fantasy shows (as well as movies/specials of note) on the Prime Time TV schedule, also including programs that may be of interest to genre fans. Air dates and times subject to change without notice.
There are no premieres and no finales this week for sci fi and fantasy television shows. And actually the listings are pretty sparse with only ten shows airing / streaming new episodes. So now is the time to get caught up on anything in your queue, because Fall is already almost here. Next week brings the late Summer / early Fall premiere of two streaming entries (Amazon’s Carnival Row and Netflix’s The Dark Crystal: Age of Resistance) and then the new season starts ramping up after that. If you don’t get caught up before next Friday, you might as well hang it up because plenty new and returning shows are on the way. You can get a preview of the Fall schedule at this link.

Schedule Notes: If a show is listed as On Hiatus, that means that it is taking a break of more than two episodes in a row. If a streaming series is included in the listings after its premiere date, then it releases new episodes once per week on that day as opposed to releasing its entire season at one time.

Do you mean “The Outpost” instead of “The Outcast”?
Yep, and thanks for the heads up. Outcast was last Summer and it has since been cancelled. Too many shows . . .
