Weekly roundup of science fiction and fantasy shows (as well as movies/specials of note) on the Prime Time TV schedule, also including programs that may be of interest to genre fans. Air dates and times subject to change without notice.
This week brings us several more Summer premieres starting with FX’s X-Men-linked series Legion. On Monday, that show will have the premiere for its third season which will be its last. Also on Monday, HBO begins airing the British series Years and Years created by Doctor Who’s Russel T. Davies. And the second season of the animated comedy Final Space debuts on Adult Swim at 10:30 PM EST that night. Then on Sunday, Starz’s paranormal conspiracy series The Rook has its premiere (see trailer below). Other than that, it is mostly business as usual for the week (though NBC’s The InBetween will be preempted for the third time in two weeks). You can see the full Summer schedule of sci fi and fantasy shows at this link.
