Development announcements picked up over the last couple of weeks with the streaming services dominating most of the news. Here is a rundown of what I have tracked thus far.
A female-led Hawkeye series is in the works for Disney+

Description: “The project would be an adventure series in which Clint Barton, aka Hawkeye, will pass the torch to Kate Bishop. In the comics, Barton abandons the Hawkeye moniker to become Ronin and Bishop takes up the mantle.” The Wrap
Comments: It has not been announced if this will be a limited series like the shows that will center around Loki, Vision / Scarlet Witch, etc.. Expect this show to debut at some point in 2020.
HBO is adapting the dystopian novel The Plot Against America
Network: HBO

Description: “The Plot Against America imagines an alternate American history told through the eyes of a working-class Jewish family in New Jersey as they watch the political rise of Charles Lindbergh, an aviator-hero and xenophobic populist who becomes president and turns the nation toward fascism.” Deadline Hollywood
Comments: This is based on the Philip Roth of the same name and will likely debut later this year or early 2020.
Netflix has ordered the adult animated series Q-Force

Comments: The streaming service will be targeting a late-2019 / early-2020 debut for this one.
Disney+ is working on a Monster, Inc. animated series with the original cast

Description: “Monsters at Work picks up six months after the original movie with the power plant at its center now harvesting the laughter of children to fuel the city of Monstropolis. The series follows Tylor Tuskmon, an eager and talented mechanic on the Monsters, Inc. Facilities Team who dreams of working on the Laugh Floor alongside Mike and Sulley.” THR
Comments: This series will debut later this year or early 2020.
Snapchat is launching the sci fi comedy series Commanders

Comments: This is one of several mobile-only scripted series Snapchat has in the works. It will debut June 2019.
Snapchat heads to the zombie-pocalypse with Dead of Night

Comments: This is one of several mobile-only scripted series Snapchat has in the works. It will debut October 2019.
Snapchat knows the day you will die in Denton’s Death Date

Comments: This is one of several mobile-only scripted series Snapchat has in the works. It is based on the Lance Rubin novel and will debut October 2019.
