Weekly roundup of science fiction and fantasy shows (as well as movies/specials of note) on the Prime Time TV schedule, also including programs that may be of interest to genre fans. Air dates and times subject to change without notice.
The premieres and returns slow down this week, but there is still some activity of note. On Wednesday on Syfy, the fantasy series The Magicians has its fourth season premiere, pairing up with Deadly Class which kicked off last week. On Thursday, Freeform’s supernatural drama Siren kicks off its second season. On Friday, the South Korean zombie series Kingdom has its debut on Netflix. As for returning shows, on Monday The CW’s Arrow is back from its Winter hiatus as is Black Lighting which is switching timeslots to Mondays a 9 PM EST. On Thursday, Legacies returns from break after Supernatural which resumed new episodes last week. On Sunday, Starz’s Outlander will have its Season 4 finale. That one has already been renewed through its sixth season. Finally of note, the CBS shows MacGyver and God Friended Me will be preempted this week, but both will return the following week with new episodes.
