Weekly roundup of science fiction and fantasy shows (as well as movies/specials of note) on the Prime Time TV schedule, also including programs that may be of interest to genre fans. Air dates and times subject to change without notice.
The Fall season is winding down this week, but it is going out with a big event from The CW’s Arrow-verse shows as The Flash, Arrow, and Supergirl are all involved in the “Elsworlds” crossover event. It kicked off on Sunday with The Flash in a special time and continues Monday on Arrow then concludes Tuesday with Supergirl shifting to that night for one week. We had the synopsis for The Flash episode in last week’s post and here are the synopses for this week’s episodes:
Elseworlds Part 2 (Arrow, Monday 8 PM EST): THE ELSEWORLDS CROSSOVER CONTINUES IN GOTHAM CITY WITH BATWOMAN (RUBY ROSE) — With Oliver (Stephen Amell) and Barry (guest star Grant Gustin) still stuck in the other’s bodies, the two get a lead on John Deegan (guest star Jeremy Davies) and head to Gotham City with Supergirl (guest star Melissa Benoist) to figure out why their reality has changed. While there, they meet the mysterious Kate Kane (guest star Ruby Rose) who provides them with information that leads the group to Arkham Asylum.
Elseworlds Part 3 (Supergirl, Tuesday 8 PM EST): THE BATTLE CONCLUDES — Supergirl (Melissa Benoist), The Flash (guest star Grant Gustin), Green Arrow (guest star Stephen Amell) and Superman (guest star Tyler Hoechlin) engage in the battle of their lives.
Returning this week is Netflix’s time travel series Travelers which has its third season debut on Friday. All episodes will be available for streaming that day. Over on Syfy, Nightflyers continues to air each night at 10 PM EST through Thursday when the show wraps up its first season. Apart from that, this week will see all of The CW shows wrapping up for the Fall with several more of the genre entries already on hiatus, and Doctor Who wrapped up this past Sunday (though it still has a special New Years ep on the way). Also, the DC Universe streaming series Titans will release its final Season 1 episode on Friday (it has already been renewed for a second season). But Mid-Season kicks off in less than a month and you can get an early look at that schedule at this link.

Schedule Notes: If a show is listed as On Hiatus, that means that it is taking a break of more than two episodes in a row. If a streaming series is included in the listings after its premiere date, then it releases new episodes once per week on that day as opposed to releasing its entire season at one time.
