Weekly roundup of science fiction and fantasy shows (as well as movies/specials of note) on the Prime Time TV schedule, also including programs that may be of interest to genre fans. Air dates and times subject to change without notice.
Two more Summer shows wrap up this week to prep the schedule for upcoming Fall debuts that will start hitting rapid-fire over the next few weeks. On Monday, CBS’s Salvation has its second season finale. The ratings for that show have been low in its second year, so this could very well be its series finale. On Friday, Syfy’s Killjoys wraps its fourth season. That show will be returning next year for its fifth and final season. Apart from that, it is business as usual, but things will pick up quickly over the coming weeks. This is your last week to get caught up on any shows still in your queue, because the Fall season is bringing over 40 new and returning sci fi shows. Schedule Notes: If a show is listed as On Hiatus, that means that it is taking a break of more than two episodes in a row. If a streaming series is included in the listings after its premiere date, then it releases new episodes once per week on that day as opposed to releasing its entire season at one time.
