Weekly roundup of science fiction and fantasy shows (as well as movies/specials of note) on the Prime Time TV schedule, also including programs that may be of interest to genre fans. Air dates and times subject to change without notice.
This week, the Indian-language (with English subtitles) horror mini-series Ghoul has its premiere on Netflix. Here is the tagline for the series: “A newly minted military interrogator arrives at a covert detention center to discover that some of the terrorists held there are not of this world”. All three episodes of the mini-series will be available for streaming on Friday. Wrapping up this week is AMC’s Preacher which will have its third season finale on Sunday. There is not word yet on whether that one will return for a fourth year. Apart from that, it is another slow week as only a few Summer entries remain on the schedule. But the Fall seasons kicks off in early September and will ramp up pretty quickly with over forty shows returning / debuting over the next few months. You can get a preview of that schedule at this link.

Schedule Notes: If a show is listed as On Hiatus, that means that it is taking a break of more than two episodes in a row. If a streaming series is included in the listings after its premiere date, then it releases new episodes once per week on that day as opposed to releasing its entire season at one time.
