Weekly roundup of science fiction and fantasy shows (as well as movies/specials of note) on the Prime Time TV schedule, also including programs that may be of interest to genre fans. Air dates and times subject to change without notice.
Two shows will be wrapping up this week starting with The CW’s The Originals. That one comes to an end after a five year run with its series finale on Wednesday. However, a spin-off series titled Legacies, which focuses on the character Hope Mikaelson, will continue the story of the Mikaelsons starting this Fall. Over on Freeform, Cloak & Dagger wraps up its first season on Thursday. That show has already been renewed for a second year. And on Sunday, AMC will be running a Walking Dead preview special that will give fans a glimpse at what to expect from the upcoming ninth season that debuts in October.
