Weekly roundup of science fiction and fantasy shows (as well as movies/specials of note) on the Prime Time TV schedule, also including programs that may be of interest to genre fans. Air dates and times subject to change without notice.
Yet another series joins the Summer schedule this week as the Stephen King-inspired Castle Rock has its debut on Hulu. The first three episodes will be available for streaming on Wednesday with one a week released on subsequent Wednesdays. Also this week, USA’s Colony will be wrapping up its third season and that will act as the series finale as well as word broke over the weekend that the show has been cancelled. Apart from that, it is business as usual, but things should be getting busy on the schedule in just over a month with the Fall season kicking off in September. You can see the preliminary schedule for that at this link and you can see the current Summer schedule at this link.

Highlights for the Week of Jul 30
The Originals (CW) 9:00-10:00 Wednesday, Series Finale
Schedule Notes: If a show is listed as On Hiatus, that means that it is taking a break of more than two episodes in a row. If a streaming series is included in the listings after its premiere date, then it releases new episodes once per week on that day as opposed to releasing its entire season at one time.
