Weekly roundup of science fiction and fantasy shows (as well as movies/specials of note) on the Prime Time TV schedule, also including programs that may be of interest to genre fans. Air dates and times subject to change without notice.
Two more shows will be joining the Summer schedule this week and one will be departing. On Monday, the CBS apocalyptic series Salvation returns for its second season at 9 PM EST. Then on Sunday, AMC’s Preacher is back for its third season at 10 PM EST. On Wednesday, Syfy will air the final two Season 3 episodes of The Expanse and that one will be heading off to Amazon for its fourth season (and hopefully more). The CW’s The Originals airs a repeat this week and that one will not be back with new episodes until July 11th.

Highlights for the Week of Jul 2
12 Monkeys (Syfy) 8:00-10:00 Friday, 2-Hr Series Finale
Schedule Notes: If a show is listed as On Hiatus, that means that it is taking a break of more than two episodes in a row. If a streaming series is included in the listings after its premiere date, then it releases new episodes once per week on that day as opposed to releasing its entire season at one time.
